How I Can Help

  • I work with individuals facing challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, addiction, low self-esteem and navigating difficult life transitions such as parenting. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I will help you develop coping strategies, build resilience and create positive changes in your life.

  • I have expertise working with family members who are concerned about the substance use of someone they love. I help families understand addiction, improve their own self-care, and set healthy boundaries.

  • In couples therapy, I help partners strengthen their connection by improving communication, deepening understanding, and navigating challenges with compassion and care.

What People Are Saying

“When I was searching for a therapist, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. I was terrified thinking about what I should talk about in therapy or how I would even bring up anything to a complete stranger. With Marilyn, the conversation felt so natural. She was warm and genuine and gently asked me questions, without any judgement. It was clear that she was very experienced and naturally empathetic. Her sessions have helped me incredibly and I’ve progressed so much from my first session - I only wish I had met her earlier. I cannot thank Marilyn enough for the amount of work she has put into me and the tools she’s given me so that I can effectively use them on my own.”
